A few things you might be wondering.
Do my friends need a paid membership?
No. Invited guests create a free account and accept your private invitation, with no payment method needed. They can read the current Bungaloh catalog selection while they remain in your active club and your Host coverage continues. Reader membership for their own broader reading is optional.
Can we read a book from outside Bungaloh?
Yes. Add its title, author, edition, and a reference link, then plan chapter checkpoints and discussions around it. Members obtain the book separately; outside book text and file uploads are not included.
How do you help keep discussions spoiler-aware?
General conversation has its own room. Each reading checkpoint has a separate room that opens when a member completes the relevant reading or confirms the checkpoint. Opening a room does not unlock Companion material. Members still need to respect the room’s reading boundary; AI moderation does not automatically detect spoilers.
What happens when we move on to another book?
Eligible members get seven days to finish the immediately previous Bungaloh selection after it closes, provided their membership in the club and the Host’s coverage continue. Your discussion history stays with the club.
Can I manage the club with someone else?
Yes. Appoint a moderator to help review posts, handle reports, and manage posting restrictions. Moderators count toward your 50 guest seats. You remain the Host and control the club’s books, invitations, and plans.
What happens if I cancel my Host membership?
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your covered term. After Host coverage ends, clubs become read-only: discussion archives remain, while sponsored reading, new invitations, posting, and planning stop.
